OUR WORKING APPROACH

Careful work.
Considered from the start.

Quality workmanship, health and safety, and prompt customer service are central to how we approach your job.

01 / QUALITY

Fit for the agreed purpose.

We start by understanding how the item is used and assessing the existing material. Preparation, suitable materials and a considered finish all contribute to a useful result.

  • Assess the item before recommending work
  • Agree dimensions, use and finish
  • Consider edges and cleaning access
  • Check the completed work against the brief
02 / HEALTH & SAFETY

Plan around your workplace.

A commercial kitchen is an active workplace. We discuss the work area, access and relevant hazards with your site contact before starting.

  • Agree site rules and task-specific controls
  • Address hot-work permits where required
  • Plan protection, ventilation and fire precautions
  • Coordinate isolation with relevant specialists
  • Keep people clear of the work area
03 / CUSTOMER SERVICE

Keep you in the picture.

We aim to respond promptly and provide a clear route from enquiry to completion. Timing and access are discussed around the practical needs of your business.

  • Explain options in straightforward terms
  • Agree scope and price before work
  • Confirm appointment arrangements
  • Communicate changes or limitations
  • Discuss care and follow-up at handover
WORKING IN A FOOD ENVIRONMENT

Protect the space
around the job.

We discuss how to separate the work area from food preparation, protect nearby surfaces and manage the debris, heat and fumes associated with the task. Access for cleaning is considered when agreeing the repair or fabrication.

Before the work starts

Please tell us about site inductions, permit requirements, operating hours, access restrictions and any documentation your organisation requires.

Where an item connects to gas, electrical, water or refrigeration systems, any necessary isolation or reconnection must be agreed with the appropriate competent specialist. The kitchen operator should confirm cleaning and readiness before returning the area to food service.
